Warning: Water violators will be fined
The county ordinance includes the restrictions imposed by the
Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD).
Watering is allowed only before
10 a.m. OR after 4 p.m. two days a
week. Each house is assigned its day based on the address number or
letter. SWFWMD wants the county to beef up enforcement of water restrictions
because it is pumping too much water from the ground. SWFWMD says residents should restrict water consumption to 150 gallons a day per person.
Fines range from $100 for the first violation up to $500 for the
third violation; and up to 60 days in jail for four or more
violations.

The club meets at the Pine Ridge
Community Center every second Tuesday of the month. At 6:30
p.m. there are coffee, donuts, and the opportunity to mingle
with other anglers. The meetings start at 7:00 p.m.

Pine Ridge RC Electric Airplane Club

Have you ever wondered what it would be like
to fly a radio controlled airplane? Have you ever wondered what it
would cost to get into the hobby? If so you are not alone. The Pine
Ridge R/C Electric Airplane Club invites you to experience the hobby
first hand. No experience required. All you have to do is come to
the Pine Ridge Flying Field on Monday, Wednesday or Friday; weather
permitting, to experience the thrill of flying radio controlled
airplanes at no cost or obligation. The Club can provide airplanes,
radio equipment and pilot trainers to allow you to safely experience
the hobby. The Club is made up of your friends and neighbors so come
on out and join us. To learn more about this great hobby, you can
attend our Club meetings held at 7:00 PM on the third Tuesday of
each month at the Pine Ridge Community Center. For more information

The Community Center will be open for residents use every Sunday between the hours of 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. So
come on over and play some pool or table tennis. It is also open during the regular office
hours, Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (except holidays).
